The Flagg Street School Parent-Teacher Group raises funds to support your child’s learning and participation in special activities and events. Last school year, PTG funds paid for:
All School Science Events:
- Animal Adventures presentation of animals and wildlife
- Jeff Danger Science Ranger presentation on chemisty and physics
- Sheryl Faye Presents Sally Ride – astronaut character reenactment
Field trip admission fees and bus costs for students to see and visit:
- Peter and the Wolf at the Hanover Theater – Kindergarten
- Performance at Mechanics Hall – Kindergarten
- Southwick Zoo – 1st grade
- Math Madness at Worcester State – 3rd and 4th grades
- Ecotarium – 4th and 5th grades
- Performance at Mechanics Hall – 4th grade
- Harvard Natural History Museum – 5th grade
- Get Fit with Holy Cross University – 5th and 6th grades
- Assumption College learn about college day – 6th grade
Individual teacher and classroom supplies including:
- Chromebooks
- Social science magazine subscriptions
- Science/math website access fees
- Math project materials
- Science project materials
- Writing and reading project materials
- Achievement incentives, prizes
- Author classroom visits to support writing projects
- Games and crafts for indoor recess
- Speakers, projectors, electronics
- Art supplies
- Books and book bins
- Gym equipment

Field Day:
- Pony rides, inflatable fire truck slide, drumming show, games
