Weather permitting, our celebration will include an outdoor parade around our immediate neighborhood.
- Flagg Street to Richmond, Greenbriar, Westbrook, Fenwick, Richmond, end back on Flagg.
Parents and friends are welcome to attend the outdoor portion of our program. Classroom celebrations will be reserved for students only.
IMPORTANT DETAILS REGARDING “HALLOWEEN SPIRIT DAY”
Things to remember:
- NO costumes, make-up, hair dye, or accessories should be worn to school. Costumes must be of the type that can be put on in the classroom (not in the bathroom) in five minutes.
- No masks that are deemed inappropriate by school personnel. This includes masks that depict characters from movies such as “Scream”, “Friday the 13th” or other movies that are solely violent in nature.
- No accessories to costumes that imitate weapons. For example, no swords, guns, knives, etc.
- Do not send snacks for a party without talking to the teacher first. Teachers will determine the amount and type of snack for after the parade.
- If you do not want your child to participate, please send a note to the teacher. We will provide an alternative activity during the parade and Halloween parties that are held in some classrooms. (Please sign and return the bottom portion of the notice sent home by teachers).
