Add up your pages, have a parent or guardian sign the total number, collect your pledges and turn in your reading log by Friday, 2/14.
If you don’t have any pledges, still bring in your reading log so we can count your pages towards the prize-winning totals!
Friday January 31st is the last day to record your reading for the 3rd annual Flagg Street School Read-A-Thon.
Add up your pages, collect your pledges and turn in your Reading Logs and pledge money by February 14th to see if you and your class win!
- Scholastic Gift Certificates: $25, $15, and $10 gift certificates to spend at the Scholastic book fair this spring for the 3 students who read the most pages at each grade level (K, 1st, 2nd, etc.)
- Medals: Award medal for the student who reads the most pages in each class (1 winner/class)
- Certificates: Award certificate for every participating student – regardless of if you collect pledges or not.
- Knockout Basketball Game: for Grade 5 and 6, participants with both students and teachers for a grand prize (must read minimum pages to be eligible).
Pledges: Check can be made out to “Flagg Street PTG” or pay by credit or debit card through PayPal here. (Be sure to email ptg@flaggstptg.org with the name of the student you are pledging so we can properly record it, thanks!)
