We are currently coordinating the distribution of Chromebooks for our students in grades 1 through 6. Any Flagg Street student who does not have a device currently is entitled to borrow a District Chromebook. You must call us this week to reserve a Chromebook.
Students in kindergarten will be receiving iPads this year. These are on order; we will contact kindergarten parents just as soon as they are available for pick up.
We also have a limited number of hotspots that are available only for families who do not have any internet service. We must reserve these for families most in need.
Finally, we are currently putting together “tool kits” for our students with school supplies, math workbooks, grade-level readings and other tools for remote learning. Each student will need to pick up one tool kit.
If your student needs to borrow a Chromebook for use in remote learning, please call Karen Johnson, School Secretary at (508) 799-3522 beginning Tuesday, Sept. 1st. Karen will be available in the office from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. through Thursday.
The distribution of Chromebooks and Tool Kits will be as follows: Tuesday, September 8: Grades 4, 5 and 6 for Chromebooks and Tool kits from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Grades 1, 2 and 3 for Chromebooks and Tool kits from 12:30 TO 2:30 p.m. Kindergarten students for Tool kits only from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. We will also be available on Wednesday, September 9 for make ups.
